Your PF nomination ensures that in case of unfortunate events, your PF money goes to the right person. Many employees forget to update nomination after marriage or having children.
How to Update PF Nomination Online
Login to UAN member portal, go to Manage, then E-Nomination. Add nominee details including name, relationship, date of birth, and address. Specify the share percentage for each nominee (should total 100%). Add family member details as per Aadhaar and submit with e-Sign using Aadhaar OTP.
Important Rules
- You can have multiple nominees with different share percentages
- For married members, spouse must be included in nomination
- Minors can be nominees but need a guardian
- Nomination must be updated within 30 days of marriage or divorce
